How do you transfer your music to Dibsteur in just a few minutes ?

Step 1: Import from Spotify

First, remember to connect your platform profiles (Spotify and Apple Music) in the "Profile" section of your Dibsteur space.

Spotify Tip: go to your Spotify artist page, click the three dots located below your artist name, then select "Share" and "Copy Artist Link". Paste this link into your browser to find your Spotify ID. It can be found in the URL, between /artist/ and the question mark ?.

Apple Music Tip:

The process is similar. Be careful, the Apple Music ID is made up only of digits.

This step is crucial to ensure your artist pages stay intact and that you keep access to your statistics from before you joined Dibsteur.

Next, click "Import a distribution from Spotify".

Step 2: Select and set up your project

Choose the project to migrate

Select the project you want to transfer to Dibsteur.

Add the original cover art of your project

The required format is a JPG file at 3000x3000 pixels.

Tip: use online tools like Image Converter Lab to resize your image if needed.

Click "Next" to move on to the next step.

Step 3: Upload your track and fill in the metadata

Uploading the audio file:

Click "Upload" to put your file online in WAV format (2 stereo channels, 16-24 bit depth, minimum frequency of 44.1 kHz, minimum duration of 2 seconds).

If you're adding a track previously distributed with Dibsteur as part of an album or EP, click "Select a track" to sync the statistics.

Accessing the track information:

Click your track's title to access the "Information" and "Additional Information" menus and fill in the missing information:

  • Contributor information is not retrieved and must be entered (featuring, beatmaker, etc.).

  • Genre and language information must be entered again for each track.

Click "Next" to move on to the final step.

Step 4: Set the release date and submit your distribution

Click "Submit":

Your distribution will be sent to our teams, who will check that everything is in order within 48 hours during business days.
